| Description | A view of the opposite side of the main keep from across the river. I think it looks even more menacing and opposing from this side. Notice the first level where it comes out to a small triangular point. This was due to the odd shape of the land and foundation at this point. The next level was made rectangular to balance out the structure which left this part uncovered. That necessitated the small karahafu gable just above it, which would otherwise look very out of place. |
