Description Inside this wooden building is a stone monument that was made in the year 762. It is a monument dedicated to the renovation of the castle. It says that the castle was built by Ohno no Azumabito and renovated by Fujiwara no Asakari in 762. It also details the distance to Kyoto and other major provinces of the time. For this reason it is a very important historical artifact and registered as a national Important Cultural Property.
